Knowing Me, Knowing You

*gulps coffee*  Aaaaah 4th cup for the morning!

Sitting here in my comfy chair, writing, watching my Rockies play baseball, and listening to a training video via Facebook. I’m what you would call a multitasker.

Los Angeles Dodgers v Colorado Rockies

The kiddos are at school and I’m making the most of this time that I’m afforded. I wrote about the opportunity and being #blessed doing what I love.

And I am, I’m living the dream. When I’m not writing, I’m knitting and like a fiend at that. I’m so passionate about knitting. And I’m no granny, thank you very much! I’m turning 38 this month, been knitting for 13 years. Self taught too. I have a crafty girl gang and we meet on a weekly basis. That circle, that connection we have through knitting is strong and necessary in this day and age.

I’ve made many friends on Twitter because of my love of sports, mainly because of ice hockey and baseball. I just love connecting with them because of this mutual love of sport. Yes, an Aussie obsessed with North American sports.

I’ve talked about the SeneGence sisterhood, having that connection with other women and how vital it is to have that in your life. I’m making lifelong friends in this sisterhood, locally and overseas.

Connecting, as you can tell, is very important to me. Having grown up very disconnected from the world around me and being held back because of my mental illnesses from a young age. I have no shame telling the world that I have them; I have bipolar type 2, anxiety and I have ADHD. What a combo! But thanks to my brilliant psychiatrist, I manage all of my symptoms and can function clearly (I’m not a zombie) on a daily basis for my family.

I’m here to serve; to promote and offer what I can in life. Whether it’s about motherhood and parenting or mental health, or if it’s getting you to pick up the knitting needles and giving it a go or getting your knitting mojo back, or sharing with you about the incredible make up and skincare I am so freaking proud represent, I am here for you.

And there are my thoughts for the morning! Was there a point to any of it? For you to get to know me a bit better and what I mostly do on a daily basis haha!
